Chest width measured flat (measured flat below armhole horizontally from edge to edge)
S = 52cm / 20.5 inches
M = 57cm / 22.5 inches
L = 62cm / 24.5 inches
The sizes of the sweater correspond to the following body measurements.
Bust at the fullest point
With 12 mm (U.S 17) straight needles, 8.5 sts and 12 rows =10X10cm (4X4 inches) in stockinette stitch
Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm (4 inches), change to larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm (4 inches), change to smaller needle size.
